~ Soli-Tree is a solitaire card game which is played with the
cards laid out in the shape of a Christmas Tree, thus the name
Soli-Tree. The Tree is laid out with a count of 28 cards. This
leaves 24 cards left in the pile. The object of the game is to
remove all cards from the board (tree) before/as all the pile
cards have been played.
Playing Cards from the board is done by numeric order. Suits
do not matter. You place cards from the board on top of the card
marked as PLAY CARD. The rule here is, the card you play from
the board must be either a card higher or lower in rank than the
card presently on the PLAY CARD pile. An example of this is a
5 or 7 from the board can be played on a 6 of the PLAY CARD
pile. An exception to this rule is the ACE which can be played
high or low on a 2 or a KING.
Cards must be played from the bottom up. No board card can
be played unless the cards DIRECTLY beneath it have been
removed.
When no moves are available from the board then you use the
ENTER (Return) key to draw from the DECK PILE. Everytime a card
is drawn the 'Pile Cards Remaining' line will update the number
of cards remaining in the DECK PILE. When the DECK PILE reaches
zero and only unplayable cards remain on the board then select
the [D]one option. This option will display how many turns/games
you have remaining to play. It will also prompt you to select if
you want to quit, play next game, or continue. Choose the
appropriate choice.
After finishing the number of games set by the SysOp, then
your turn is completed for the day. Select the [Q]uit option.
You may view all scores before returning to the BBS.

~ Even though the Sysop sets the number of games a day, this
limit may be exceeded by winning games. Winning a game can be
accomplished by removing twenty-seven and also all twenty eight
cards form the tree. This can be easier described as the top two
rows. By clearing the second row from the top you'll receive a
larger bonus AND one free game. By clearing the entire tree you
win the game, get a larger bonus AND another free game. It is
possible to win two free games for each game you play.

~ Soli-Tree will also allow Make-Up Days and Playing Ahead Days
in the registered version. This will allow you to make up those
days that you miss and play ahead days that you may not be able
to play. The number of make-up days allowed per day are also set
by the sysop.

~ The screen is set up with four small boxes inside of one
large large box. Underneath the Title box which is at the top
is the Statistics box. Here is a description of each box.

~ The forth and bottom box is the card box. Here is where the
Card Pile and the Play Card pile is. The Pile Cards will appear
as a single card, face down. The Play Card will be a actual card
which is the active card to play on from the tree. As you play
cards from the tree this is where they will be shown after being
played.
Below the two card piles is the 'Cards Remaining / Game #'
line. This merely shows the remaining number of cards in the
pile and the game number of the current game.
To the right of these four boxes is the tree (board) area.
This is where the tree of cards will be displayed. As you clear
each row of card, your bonus will be displayed in this area.
